Longtime collaborators and friends, Aunty Pua Burgess and Alan Murakami shared from over 40 years of community work together, nurturing Hawaiʻi’s unique cultural and environmental resources. Through the art of storytelling in an intimate setting at the Japanese Cultural Center of awaiʻi they shared their vision of the beloved community and reminded us of the importance in building bridges between Hawaiʻi’s diverse people.
